I’m Laurie, a writer, teaching artist, and displaced Jersey Girl living in Los Angeles with a trio of unruly blondes.
By day I work for the LA Opera, staging youth operas with elementary and high school students all over this sprawling city. By night I write commercial fiction inspired by my non-linear (and somewhat nonsensical) career path. Check out my bio for more about that.
I've recently completed my debut novel, BETA ZETA KATIEBUG, a sorority satire set in '90s North Carolina against a backdrop of college basketball, fat-free salad dressing, and Janet Jackson music.
